the_leaky_penWaiting for the pest control people to come, which they should do sometime in the next hour and a half. I am feeling very tired but I've very nearly caught up on all the various substacks I'm subscribed to - Cicero's e-pistulae, Silmarillion Daily, Whale Weekly, &c. Plus have opened up many tabs of fic to read, which.... we'll see how much of that I'll get to.
Roomie EL is anxious because they don't like strangers in their space (valid, but nothing I can do about that) and because I gave an incorrect estimate of when they were supposed to arrive. I said 1-3 but turns out it's 2-4. My bad memory at play. Or possibly wrong information from the company. 50/50 chance of either. Roomie SW is at work after having helped to ready the space.
I'm feeling relatively chill about the whole thing but it may simply be that I have passed through anxiety and to the other side into calm. Mostly I just want them to get here and confirm whether we've done the prep correctly and then make sure all the bugs are Gone.
