Sushi Masters & Iron Chef

My roommates and I are watching Morimoto's Sushi Masters and after watching the second episode at decided to watch S1E1 of the available dubbed Iron Chef. First of all, both delightful shows, but especially fascinating to see the difference between Morimoto Masaharu as he is now and as he was then. Also the different ways that shows can be over the top. Both Sushi Masters & Iron Chef are a bit corny, but in very different ways. Naturally, I recommend them both 😄

I have incredibly fond memories of watching the original Iron Chef c. 2000 and whenever the Chairman shows up in something else I cheer.

I like him so much I had to look him up and he's been in SO MANY THINGS (including reprising his role as Light Yagami's dad in the Death Note MUSICAL of all things)

But I also got really curious about all the interpreters in the dub & I was unable to find ANY information about most of them. I want someone to do a deep dive on that in, like, a Vulture article or something
